The programme offers opportunities for migrants to connect with community groups and become active in the community. The benefit is social engagement, learning of way of life and social issues in the host country but also enhance the image and self value of migrants.

• Storytelling is a program offered by Vormingplus Limburg. The premise is to narrate personal stories for diverse groups as a way to develop understanding, empathy, respect and appreciation for other cultures and promote positive attitudes for people of diverse ethnic and religion backgrounds. A storytelling event was promoted by Hypatia Foundation in Cyprus trough the Municipality of Nicosia, and the Nicosia Municipal Multifunctional Foundation in December 2019.
